My dear beloved sister..
We live in a time where physical beauty has become an exaggeration and more and more women are commiting tabarujj or rather the revealing of beauty…
The physical NATURAL beauty is a blessing and there is NOTHING wrong with it.
But often people forget that true beauty is not limited to physical attraction, physical beauty is just like any material trait and not permanent. The pursuit of the beauty of the face has become such a disease.
I know it can be hard to fall easily in the traps of insecurities and each and every single one of us struggle with them.
It has been pushed into our minds that the face of a woman is important and should fit in the beauty standards of the society and the word has been pushed into our minds with their “description” of it.
But the definition of real beauty is how we portray ourselves on this what we will carry forward with us to the hereafter.
Our good deeds. It was narrated in al-Saheeh that Abu Hurayrah said, “The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: ‘Allah does not look at your appearance or your wealth, but He looks at your hearts and your deeds.’” (Narrated by Muslim, al-Birr wa’l-Silah, 4651) —
When we look at the appearance of people is our first impression. When we come to know them, we may repel from their character or get attracted and get closer to them.
We get captivated by their inner beauty. To achieve this inner beauty is associated with the heart. Allah loves beauty in words, deeds and attitudes.
Beautifying your tongue, sincere ikhlaas (sincerity), your good deeds and your attitude, filling your inner world with that which pleases Allah by following the Q’uraan and the sunnah of the prophet (peace be upon him) is what will welcome your soul to Jannah/paradise.
If your heart is filled with Allah, love and light will be written across your face and you shall gain in Sha Allah the blessing of taqwa (conscious and cognizant of God), which will beautify your soul.
You automatically want to be a better person for the sake of Allah ta’allah.. Your inner beauty will illuminate. Distinguish yourself from the rest, from what they call “beautiful”.
Walk with haya (modesty) my dear sister.
Walk with modesty and self respect and try not to fall into the traps of revealing your beauty. Your steadfastness upon this path along with your good deeds, your positive qualities and your sincere devotion to Allah azzawajal are a different kind of beauty compared to the “beauty” of that which the society describes..
They are beautiful in the sight of your LORD.
Your face and every part of your body will one day be lying under the dirt, but with that which you have pleased Allah with and if He is pleased with you, bithnillah, your soul will shine even under the ground..
Outer beauty attracts, but inner beauty captivates.
