An answered prayer..
“A True Story”
So the other night sitting on her bed checking out her phone as usual, emails, whatsapp etc.. Nothing unusual until..
She reads an old chat on whatsapp and the ache in her chest starts all over again, that choking feeling in her throat and her eyes well up..
She hears the azaan and having started crying bitterly over very painful things read having being said to her, sitting on the edge of her bed, she makes a dua..
“YA ALLAH, IT STILLS HURTS SO MUCH, I CAN’T BELIEVE THAT AFTER ALL THIS TIME IT STILL TEARS ME UP, OH ALLAH PLEASE REMOVE THIS PAIN OUT MY HEAD AND HEART” ..
She heads toward the bathroom to make wudhu for SALAAH, by now she is already crying bitterly, so bitterly she starts to sob..
She comes back to find that her phone had on its own switched off, now it needed her finger print so it could switch back on..
In amazement she sits back down and watches all apps etc reinstall itself, however, her whatsapp had completely been wiped out, every single chat gone, numbers gone and to her surprise even her chat history had disappeared… Confused as ever, she battled and switched her handset on and off, off and back on again a good few times all leading to the same result..
Im that moment of weakness and pain, she had
begged Allah to remove what had been hurting her and what had her held captive in the past, it had all been removed with absolutely no trace what so ever..
Never for a second doubt that your duas are not being heard, never lose hope thinking that ALLAH does not answer..
ALLAH had heard her and ALLAH had set her free in the most blessed way ever.. HE took away everything that had been hurting her and HE replaced it with a brand new start..
Sometimes all it takes is a small step in the right direction and before you know it, you are set free from things that keep you imprisoned in the past..
Sometimes all we need to do is “LET IT GO”..
Trust in ALLAH..
