Peace is not found in answers, it is found in surrender, nothing moves without His Yes.
All my life, doubt has walked beside me like a silent shadow. It sat with me in the quiet hours of the night, whispering questions I could not answer. Who am I? Why am I here? Why do I feel unworthy? These questions became the soundtrack of my inner world, echoing through the chambers of my heart. Yet even in that storm of uncertainty, a softer voice would arise, a voice not born of fear, but of faith. It whispered, “Be still. Nothing is ordained without His Yes.”
In that realization, everything changes. The heaviness of my insecurities begin to lighten because I understand this truth, before the heavens and earth even existed, before a single leaf trembled in the wind, my life, my struggles, my journey, all of it, was known, written, and allowed by the One whose wisdom transcends time. Every joy I have tasted, every wound I have endured, every unanswered question was not an accident. It was an invitation. An invitation to trust the One who wrote my story.
When I say “You are peace, and from You comes all peace”, I am acknowledging that my soul cannot manufacture peace on its own. Peace is not found in perfection. It is found in surrender, in leaning into the One who shaped me with intention. The very insecurities I have fought were, in their own hidden way, teaching me reliance. They stripped me of the illusion that I could build myself alone and pointed me back to the Source, The sustainer, the all-knowing.
It is easy to believe that life is chaos, that pain is meaningless, and that our trials are random storms. But nothing, not even a tear, not even a breath, escapes His decree. And what He ordains, He ordains with wisdom. The door that closes does so by His command. The delay that frustrates you is held by His timing. The people who enter or leave your life do so under His watch. The pain that humbles you also polishes you. Nothing moves without His yes.
To recognize this is to shift from despair to trust. It is to see every moment not as a punishment, but as a preparation. What you lost was never meant to define you. What you endured was never meant to destroy you. It was meant to bring you back, back to the stillness of faith, back to the certainty of divine care, back to the One whose mercy outshines all your fears.
And when you reach that state of surrender, you find what you have been seeking all along, peace. Not the fragile peace of circumstances going your way, but the unshakable peace of knowing that you are held, guided, and seen by the Lord of Majesty and Bounty.
So, let your heart rest. Let your soul breathe. The fight you have been fighting, the questions you have been asking, are not a sign of weakness. They are proof of your search for Him. And He, in His infinite mercy, never turns away the seeker. He is the One who takes a trembling heart and fills it with light. He is the One who takes a doubting soul and clothes it in certainty.
Blessed are You, O Lord of Majesty and Bounty. From You comes all peace, and to You all peace returns.
So let this truth echo in your heart, nothing in your life, not the wound nor the wonder, not the loss nor the gain, happens without His yes. What feels like breaking is really shaping, what feels like delay is really divine timing. Trust Him, because the Author of your story writes with a pen dipped in mercy.
