All things done in the dark, must come to light. This is not just a saying, it is a divine law woven into the very fabric of life. The shadows may stretch far, but they never last forever, truth always has a way of pulling back the curtain. And that, right there, is where my heart has learned the sweetest lesson, to place my faith not in the whispers of society, but in the will of ALLAH.
People?.. Aah they will talk. They will judge. They will twist stories, add extra spice and then some, then serve them up like they were standing at the gates of heaven taking attendance. But here is the reality, they do not hold my destiny, my rizq, my forgiveness, or my soul. ALLAH does. And He sees not just what is done in the open, but what is whispered behind closed doors, what is buried in hearts, and what is hidden in the silence of the night.
Society may clap when you rise and cheer when you fall. It is fickle. It changes like the wind. Today’s hero is tomorrow’s villain, and tomorrow’s villain may just be the one ALLAH raises higher than anyone ever imagined. Why?.. Because ALLAH’s scale of justice is not tilted by gossip, opinions, or reputations. His Light exposes truth when the time is right, never too soon, never too late, always perfectly timed.
And once you realise that, you stop living for people. You stop trying to clear your name in every room. You stop exhausting yourself trying to prove your worth. Instead, you trust the process of ALLAH. You let go of the fear of being misunderstood. You walk with your head high, not in arrogance, but in serenity, knowing that your DEFENDER is greater than any ACCUSER.
So yes, all things done in the dark must come to light. But I have learned to smile at that thought, not fear it. Because if I have stumbled, I know His mercy can cleanse me. And if others have wronged me, I know His justice will restore me. Either way, the outcome is in His Hands, not the hands of society.
That right there is the power in shifting faith from people to ALLAH. That is true freedom. That is pure peace. And that is the real glow that no shadow can dim.
